Walk-about Tour

Our ‘Walk-about’ tour is designed for those that want a Storytellers experience - but without the bicycle! This easy walking tour can take place pretty much anywhere on the island: you tell us what you are particularly interested in seeing and learning about, and we will take you to a location to suit!

This tour is suitable for all ages and is family friendly - so long as you can comfortably walk - and have equipment for taking small children if applicable.

This walk-about tour lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours. This provides you with the opportunity to really experience and learn more about Rarotonga, it’s people, way of life, environment and so on, while sharing a few laughs with your our group and tour guide. Each walk is tailored to your interests: want to husk a coconut? Try tamarind straight from the pod? Find out about the life-changing advent of Christianity arriving in Rarotonga? This is your chance!

We can be a bit flexible with our timing for this tour - depending on the time of the year and how busy we are. That said, we can pretty well guarantee a slot for a Monday / Wednesday / Friday / Saturday afternoon, after 1.30pm. We will pick you up from your accommodation, and drop you back there afterwards.
