Booking and Cancellation Policies

Cancellations policy for direct bookings: bookings are fully refundable if cancellation occurs at least 24 hours prior to tour departure. Cancellations made by the tour operator at any time are fully refundable.

Cancellation policy for cruise ship bookings: the same general rules apply for cruise ship bookings, except that we retain 15% of the booking cost if for some reason ship passengers are not able to enter the island (this is to help cover some of our costs as catering etc will already have been paid for).

Supervision of children / youth: Those aged 16 years of age or over may come on the tour without a parent / guardian. However, if this occurs, we ask that we are provided with a phone number that a parent / guardian may be reached on at ANY time during the tour. Children / youth aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We ask parents to please supervise your children on tour: our tour guides are not babysitters, and we ask that bicycles / equipment be treated with respect.

The weather: we are an outdoors, eco-adventure company, and we are situated on a tiny tropical island… in other words, trying to predict the weather - even on the day of a booking - is tricky! We try to avoid getting caught out in heavy rain or strong winds, and will avoid going out if we believe the weather will impact either your safety or enjoyment of the tour. We are not bothered by a few light showers or light breezes (and we provide ponchos if needed). We make a call on whether to cancel on the morning of the tour, as weather conditions can change a lot overnight.

E-bikes: we do not carry e-bikes, but are happy to take people who opt for an e-bike out on tour with us. We ask that you organise the hiring of your e-bike (ask us for recommendations), which includes getting it to our start point, and taking it with you at the conclusion of our tour. A discounted rate is offered if choosing to bring your own bicycle on tour. All that said, unless you have some kind of mobility issue, e-bikes are really not necessary for our tours: our pace is fairly slow, and we do not do mountain biking! A few slopes here and there, but nothing too tough. And, we won’t leave you behind, so you can cycle at a pace that suits you.
